She notified her viewers that the content could be triggering to some and advised them to watch with caution.
The video began with her preparing herself by wearing protective gear, including a surgical mask and gloves.
She then showed the nails of the deceased, an elderly woman who already had some henna on her nails.
However, the polish appeared faded, and that is why she was there — to make them look better ahead of her send-off.

Beauty mortician removes woman's old henna
Using a piece of cotton wool, she began by removing the old polish from the woman's nails before applying a new coat.
The mortician used another tool to remove the undercoat of the remaining polish on the woman's nails.
She then carefully and slowly painted them with another liquid, ensuring the work was properly done.
Next, she applied what seemed like artificial, extended nails on the woman's fingers before filing them to give them the desired shape and look.

She filed the edges with precision, making sure no part was left untouched.
She then removed the cuticles before polishing the nails to make them look cleaner, clearer, and neater.
Finally, she painted the nails and added shiny decorations that made them look even more beautiful.
When her work was complete, she showed it off briefly before the video came to an end.
Netizens react to mortician's TikTok video
Social media users flocked to the comment section to share their mixed reactions following the viral TikTok video.
Colleen Talbert:
"My mom prided herself on her beauty, and she was a beautiful woman. She would jokingly say, ‘Make sure when I’m dead I look good.’ I made sure they did my mama up the way she would have done herself. We even sprayed her perfume on her right before the viewing. Not only did she look beautiful, but she smelled beautiful. Whoever did her hair, makeup, and nails did such a good job. It makes me happy to know that even in death she is still beautiful. Thank you for what you do."
gkmagana4:
"My older sister also had her makeup done and wore a cute white dress before she was laid to rest."
Mimi❤️:
"During our internship, we were asked to go and assist at the mortuary. While others were helping with the cleaning of the corpse, I stood at the entrance ready to jakpa just in case... the African in me was so strong 😆😆. To cut the long story short, I didn't sleep that night. I kept seeing the faces from that day. It took me weeks to gradually recover. Mek nobody force profession for my body again."
Lee:
"I need to start doing my own nails. Imagine using the same equipment that was used on a dead body."
Lolostlmom:
"Someone painted my mom's nails to match the sweater she was wearing. It felt so much like my mom, I cried. I asked the mortuary to thank the person who did it. Her nails turned blue when she was sick, so it was nice to see this lavender color on her."
