Fast forward to March 4, Valary needs help again as she is now at Stage Four cancer, and her health has deteriorated.
Since November 2024, when Valary's health took a turn for the worse, she was having chemotherapy treatments twice a month. The critical sessions became a heavy financial burden on their family as they struggled to keep up with the mounting costs.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, a well-wisher identified as Stella Tande said she was attending Muhoroni High School in Kisumu county and was in Form Four at Muhoroni High School, but she was in hospital for last three weeks.
"She has been hospitalised since last week and her doctor recommended further tests which are costly given that Social Health Assurance isn't working," she said.
When she became ill in school, her mum was called to pick her up, and she's been hospitalised since then.

"She's on the verge of giving up, and her mum is kindly reaching out for well-wishers who can help raise cash needed for the tests as they are still held up in the hospital.
