Jesus Winner Ministry Pastor Denies Stealing Kdf Land, Insists They Bought It

Roysambu, Kiambu: Besieged Jesus Winner Ministry founder Edward Mwai has vehemently denied stealing land belonging to the Kenyan Defence Forces (KDF) and insisted that they bought it.

When did pastor Mwai but his church land?
According to Mwai, they have been buying this field since 2018, and the sale has entailed GL complex and the people from Uchumi.
"It has been four years since we paid our money and have not had any debts; we have been pushing for the title deed to be transferred to our name, Jesus, Winner," said Mwai.
"When we speak to the people from Uchumi, they tell us that the government, permanent secretary, or cabinet secretary for trade have not signed," he added.
Which pastor was promised KSh 20m by Ruto?
According to Mwai, Uchumi said that the government needs to sign it for the transfer to be initiated.
"Now, because we are tired as they keep telling us that, we have decided that it's best we speak so that the whole country and the government know that we have pain in our hearts," said the pastor, who was promised KSh 20 million by President William Ruto.
"We have even appeared before the parliamentary committee that is led by Nyamai and they said that its is okay for the field to be sold to Jesus Winner," he revealed.

How much land did pastor Mwai get?
Mwai claimed that initially, he had applied for 20 acres of the land, and the military was demanding 17 acres.
"We started demanding three years ago and then the military wrote a letter saying that they would allow Uchumi to sell that field," said the pastor.
"We have seen that the military has taken over their part of the field, and so we are now asking if the military was given their title deed, why we, as Jesus Winner, have not received ours despite paying money,"he added.
Mwai also shared that people on social media have been saying they own the land and said that if that is the case, they should show proof that they paid for the land.
" Let them show us their agreement and the documents the have with Uchumi," said Mwai.j
Jesus Winnier Ministry served with demand letter
In another story, four lawyers asked pastor Mwai to renounce President William Ruto's donation to his church of have a date in court with them.
Mwai has not had peace even since Ruto promised KSh 20 million toward the construction of the Jesus Winner Ministry and an additional KSh 100 million for the same purpose from friends.
In the demand letter, the Kenyans said they would sue the pastor for taking processed of crime incase he took the cash from Ruto.
