Thika Family in Anguish as Son Who Was Returning to School after Midterm Break Goes Missing
- Victor Ndung'u Mwangi parted ways with his mum at the Thika Main Stage as he was going to Githumu Boys High School, and she was taking his sister to school
- Victor is a Form Two student; he was last seen wearing his school uniform, and the parents only knew of his disappearance after his school teacher called and said he had not arrived

Thika: A family in Thika is in distress after their son suddenly went missing shortly after the midterm holidays.

Where is Githumu Boys High School?
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Victor Ndung'u's dad, identified as Moses Mwangi, said that they left home together with his mum and sister, who was going to another high school.
"My daughter's school is very strict, and they require parents to take their children all the way to school and that is what my wife did with our daughter," said Mwangi.

"My wife took him to the stage and left him there to take a vehicle to Githumu Boys High School in Kandara and that is the last time they saw each other. Later, his teacher called to ask why he had not arrived at school like the others and that is how we learnt that he was missing," he added.
Victor was last seen at Thika Main Stage on February 4, and at the time, he was dressed in Githumu Boys High School uniform.

Speaking in an interview with TAS TV, Ambassador Wa Watoto said the disappearance shocked him, and he said that they have spread tentacles to police stations, village elders, and Kandara to find him.
"We will go to all the hospitals to see if the child was involved in an accident. We also suspect that there are people who are looking for schoolkids and we are asking his friends to help," said the ambassador.
"Some one told us that he was seen going to the shops and then returning to the house," he added.
The pair also complained that some unscrupulous people have been reaching out to the family, saying that they have the young man, and yet they don't have him.

Missing boy finally reaches out to mum
A young mum identified as, Queen Zee, was left in shock and a lot of as a her son had gone missing without a trace on December 26, 2024.
She made a lot of emotional pleas on social media, saying how much she loved her dear son.
After about months, the boy called his mother through WhatsApp, apologised profusely, and used a number from abroad.
