Bii's aunt speaks after nephew returns home
The young man left home in December 2014 after an alleged fight with his primary school teacher.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Bii's aunt Jackie Rop, expressed the family's delight after the 'dead' son returned home alive.
"We are all puzzled. It does not seem real. There are several cases where children get lost and the outcome is tragic, like they are killed or get lost forever. For Bii to return home without a scratch, we thank God. We are so happy," she said.
Bii leaves home for Soit
When Bii left home, he was fresh from the circumcision ceremony, and he found out a while later that his father had passed away.
The loss and the fight with the teacher pushed Bii to move from home and head to Soit, where he had other relatives.
"He dropped out of school in Class 7 when he went to Soit. He said he found some work in a Maasai land. He used to communicate with his worried mum, Evalyn. However, there was a period when he went silent for five years before he resurfaced and reached out to his mother," Jackie added.

Bii travels to work in Tanzania
Jackie shared that Bii got some work to load and offload sugarcane in trucks, a menial job which Bii did for years.
It also allowed him to travel across the border and head to Tanzania despite not having legal documents.
"He stayed there for two years between 2021 to 2023. He was staying with his friends, who were also his colleagues, as they worked together. When he returned to Kenya, he went to Migori and continued with the menial jobs. One day, he desired to return home, and he met someone who was heading to Eldoret. He asked him to drop him at Kilgoris, and that is how he found his way home," Jackie shared.
Bii's mum's reaction to seeing her son
Bii's mother spotted him while she carried firewood from the forest to her home, and she was shocked to see her son.
She could not contain her joy as her son, whom she thought was dead, was alive and back home.
"Bii's grandmother was also shocked to see his grandson. It took them a day before they could have conversations, as they could not believe the miracle. The church is planning a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the good news. They had made Bii a prayer item as they prayed for him to return and God has answered," Jackie excitedly said.
