According to her worried mother, Tashely was excited about going to church the following morning, and her mother told her to sleep early so that she could get her wish of attending church with her granny.
On March 23, Tashley accompanied her grandmother to St Theresa Cathedral Catholic Church in Kibuye, Kisumu.

Where is MM Shah Primary School?
Tashley, who was wearing a white dress and jungle green shoes, left for home, but when her grandma arrived there, she did not find the girl.
Initially, the family thought that the Grade Seven girl who attends MM Shah Primary School had gone to visit her friends and would turn up in the evening, but that did not happen.
"We searched entire neighbourhood and called her friends, checked every place we could think of. When we couldn't find her, we reported the matter at Kondele Police Station the following day," said her mother Irene Adongo.
According to the 34-year-old, Tashley is her only child, and since the teen's disappearance, things have never been the same for the family again.
