"The landlord is on my neck because I haven't paid rent for four months---since the beginning of this year. I just live here by faith, praying to God that the landlord doesn't kick me out. Because, for sure, if I'm asked to leave this place today, the best I can do is take my belongings and go to the streets. I can't go back home, I don't have any money, I don't have anything--- I mean, I don't know what to do," she cried.
The desperate woman said she could not go back home to her parents' house because of her brother.
Karaithi opens up on court case
She claimed he barred her and their siblings from accessing their parents' home, leaving them stranded.
"We have two pieces of land and the house that my mum was living in. So my brother went to my parents' home and wielded a lock on the door so that no one could access the house, and then he threatened me. So I wanted to go there, but I couldn't. Then there is the issue of land. As we speak, we have an ongoing case in court.

There is a little money that our mother left behind. I requested the court if I could be given my share so that I could use it to take my son to the hospital and also for my upkeep. My brother spoke to his lawyer, and his lawyer said that I shouldn't be given the money," the unemployed mum mentioned.
Karaithi seeks money to take son to rehabilitation
The former mama mboga woman claimed her brother has made her life and that of her son with mental challenges unbearable.
Karaithi noted her brother was given a land by their parents before they unfortunately passed away.
"There are two pieces of land remaining, and he is also targeting them. He wants one land for himself and the other a portion of it. It is unfair, and there is nothing we can do because the court is on his side. I have no money and I do not know what to do. I am stranded. I have a son with mental illness, and I do not have money for his treatment, to take him to rehabilitation," she said.
