Carina, whose real name is Carolina Hawa, breathed her last at an Indian hospital, where she had been receiving treatment
The talented actress from Bongo had undergone over 25 surgeries as she battled a rare disease in her stomach.
As the news of her death broke out, people from all walks of life trooped online to mourn her, highlighting her passion and skills exhibited in the acting industry.
In a video shared by Global Publishers, the family of the fallen actress is seen in various degrees of pain; some were wailing, others crying quietly, others were talking about her, while the rest sat lost in thought.

How did Caraina's mum react?
"Everything is mixed up for me, I don't even know what to say," said Carina's mum.
Carina's sister shared that the late actress was a mother of one; a daughter who is now in Form Four.
"She was my everything, she breatsfeed my kids and was there for them as well," she said.
According to the late actress's sister, the body will arrive in the country on April 18.
