Mercy Kurgat welcomed new family members as she successfully gave birth to adorable triplets.
Kurgat gave birth to three baby boys at Chelymo Hospital in Silibwet town to take her tally of kids to eight.
Despite the heartwarming news, the woman, who was a mother of five before welcoming the bundles of joy, said she was shocked to deliver several babies.

"I thank God for blessing me with these babies. However, I do not know how we will raise. Life has already been difficult with the five I have," she told Citizen TV as she held her triplets.

The baby boys looked cute as she covered them with swaddling clothes right after birth, though there were some concerns about them.
The hospital staff confirmed the babies were fine and healthy, but they were born prematurely on Wednesday, April 16.
They needed to be observed in the hospital's neonatal unit, but they were stable and would soon be discharged.

Together with her husband, Wesley Kurgat, the mother relies on small-scale farming to feed their family.
"We are struggling to provide the basic needs, including food, clothing and medical essentials for our growing family," Wesley said.
The burden of raising eight children with little income forced the couple to seek help online.
Luckily, Felody Chepkirui, Bomet Member of County Assembly (MCA), visited the family in the hospital.

"This afternoon, together with Hon. Cheptoo, MCA Rongena/Manaret Ward, and Hon. Evaline Mibei, Chair of the Women Caucus and with the support of other MCAs who couldn’t join us, we visited Mercy Kurgat from Sigor Ward, who recently gave birth to beautiful triplets at Chelymo Hospital. It was a joy to celebrate this incredible blessing with her. Children are truly a gift," she happily wrote.

They shared adorable photos as they carried the newborns while celebrating the gift of life in the medical facility.
A paybill number was opened for the couple to receive money from generous Kenyans to help them in caring for the little ones and the other kids.

Turkana woman becomes mum of 10
In Turkana, Eyanai Ekatapan was all smiles as she sat on the hospital bed after giving birth to four boys.
The Turkana woman became a mother of 10 after welcoming the quadruplets at Lodwar County Referral Hospital.
However, she had a massive task of caring for the kids alone as her husband was killed while herding.
