"The incident happened under mysterious circumstances. Salama was suffering from an anxiety disorder for a week and a half. On the night she disappeared from home, she was sleeping with her mum. Her mum slept quite late, almost past 1am. As soon as she fell asleep, Salama stepped out. Salama's mum woke up around 4am and found her daughter was missing.
She came to me and we set out with her brother to look for Salama. We searched for Salama the whole day, but there were no signs of her. We later went to the mosque for prayers before we continued our search for her, which was futile," Musa, a family member, shared.

When was Salama's body found?

It was in the morning on Thursday, April 24, when Salama's body was discovered by her little brother.

The cold-blooded body that was carelessly disposed of belonged to Wanjiru Ng'ang'a, who went missing on her way home from work.
