Prisila Songok left her children 16 years ago, and they have never stopped searching for her.
How did Prisila Songok disappear?
Nelly Chepchirchir, her daughter, told TUKO.co.ke that her mother left, saying she was going to visit her parents in a different village.

A week later, Chepchirchir became suspicious and reached out to her grandparents, only to discover that Prisila had never arrived.
She explained that things had not been the same since their beloved father, Meshack Songok, passed away in 2004.
"She was of sound mind when she left to visit her parents. She had been a bit stressed after our father died, but she never spoke about it with us," said the distraught daughter.

Nandi family launches search for mum
Worried about her mother's whereabouts, Chepchirchir and her siblings reported her as missing and searched for her, but all their efforts have yet to bear fruit.
"We went to the local radio station and searched everywhere for her, but we did not find her. Now, I keep posting her pictures on social media, hoping someone out there has seen her," she said.
Chepchirchir noted that Prisila has a black birthmark on one side of her lip.
"The mark is quite large and noticeable. It could help identify her," she stated.
She expressed her wish for her mother to reunite with all eight of her children, who miss her dearly.

"We haven’t given up, and we won’t give up on finding her. If she can somehow see this, may she please come home to us," said the daughter.

Nairobi mechanic seeks mum who disappeared 16 years ago
TUKO.co.ke also reported that a 27-year-old man from Ruaka appealed for help to find his mother, Mary Njoki.
Telvin Oduor said he last saw his mother in 2008, following the death of his father, Allan Otieno.
He expressed his desperation to find her, noting that 16 years later, he has no clear memories or photographs of her.
Telvin made an emotional appeal to anyone who might help him reunite with the family he lost.
