Naomi Ngimat recently shared a heartfelt plea in an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, seeking help to recover her daughter.

In the interview, the then-devastated mother revealed that a friend had taken her daughter and adamantly refused to return her.

Where was Naomi Ngimat’s daughter taken?

Naomi narrated that she had a three-month-old baby at the time when a friend, identified as Caro, came to visit.

“After visiting, she asked if my daughter Tracy could accompany her to fetch some bananas and diapers for the newborn. I agreed, as I was recovering from a C-section,” she explained.

However, hours passed and Tracy did not return, prompting Naomi and her cousin to visit Caro’s home.

Fortunately, they found Tracy at Caro’s parents’ house and asked to take the child back.

“Caro’s mother told me that Caro wasn’t around and that someone else had brought the child there. I told her it was okay and politely asked if I could take my daughter home,” Naomi said.

Caro’s parents locked the gate and insisted that Tracy was not leaving, claiming she was their child.

Naomi said the man called his sons, and together they refused to let her leave with Tracy.

Frustrated and shocked, the mother of three had no choice but to return home to care for her newborn, leaving Tracy behind with Caro’s family.

“She was five years old. Tracy cried, asking me not to leave her. I still feel so much pain when I think about it. She begged me not to leave her, and I promised her I would come back the next day. I lied and told her she had to stay because it was already dark,” she recalled.

She claimed that her attempts to seek help from the police and the local chief were futile, as she was repeatedly dismissed.
