Speaking to Global TV, Komi said that a client had approached him for a coffin and since he wanted a posh coffin, the young man ended up asking a colleague.

"My boss gave me permission to go and pick up the coffin and when I got to the office, it was locked and my boss was away. That area had a lot of thieves so I asked the transport guy to take me home and I would return it the following day," he said.
"When I reached home, I found my mum was away to have fun as she had just separated from her man and she wanted to start a new relationship. At 1 am, my mum returned and seemed happy with a man she had met while out. But when she saw the coffin, she fell on her back and had to be taken to hospital," he said.
