Rongai: Telvin Mburu, the kind makanga who was hailed for saving the life of a woman identified as Viola Nekesa, has shared that her baby daddy allegedly contacted him about her.

Was Telvin Mburu threatened?

In a series of messages on TikTok, the young tout said that the man kept sending him texts and even divulged why he left Nekesa.

"I am Eugene, Viola's baby daddy; you think all those TV and radio stations will help you? I left her because of her character at work," he said.

When TUKO.co.ke reached out to him, the young man said that the texts started coming after he saved Nekesa but Eugene did not threaten or endanger his life in any way.

"I don't know what triggered the texting; I think the baby daddy thinks I am in a relationship with her.
"Viola and I are not in a relationship, I don't know why he is triggered. At the moment I can't get into a relationship because I am not stable. Kenyans advised me to get a licence so that I can start working and that is the first step I took towards financial stability," he added.

What did Viola say about the texts?

When TUKO.co.ke reached out to Viola, the mum of two acknowledged that she heard the news after Telvin posted and shared it with her.

"Yes he confronted me by getting me summoned at the police station where the issue was not settled,"she said.
"The baby daddy is mad as expected from any deadbeat...as always they're never happy seeing you making positive strides without their help. For the record, the daddy part shouldn't be there as he's not one," she added.

Why Telvin is a kind tout

Telvin became a social media sensation when he helped Viola, who fell ill in his matatu about a month ago.

Not only did he rescue her and had the matatu driver take a detour to the hospital, but Telvin also kept her company as she got treatment.

In a TV interview, he explained the loss of his mother motivated him to help Viola.

Viola Nekesa facing eviction

In another story, Nekesa shared that she was facing eviction now after her landlord disconnected water and electricity.

Despite attracting public sympathy, she shared that most people believed her job loss was staged, and yet it was true.

Nekesa is a lovely mother of two young children, and she has been taking care of them on her own.

She appealed for well-wishers to help her land a job or brand ambassadorial deal so she can survive.
