Kenyans Comfort JCM Minister During His Wife's Body Viewing: "May God Give You Peace"

Kiambu: Kenyans online have expressed sympathy for the Jesus Compassion Ministry (JCM) minister through heartfelt and consoling messages, whose wife died while giving birth.

Njoroge Ngugi, known affectionately as Njoroge wa Keyboard, was visibly in tears as he viewed the body of his beloved wife, Magdalene Njoki Mburu.

Mourners wear black and yellow uniforms

Tragically, Njoki passed away in the hospital, leaving her family and church community in deep sorrow.

Njoroge, now a widower, was smartly dressed in a three-piece suit during the viewing.

He was accompanied by other mourners, one of whom wore a similar outfit and stood closely by his side.

Njoroge views wife lying in coffin

Two men, one on either side of Njoroge, were seen consoling him during the emotional moment.

It was a difficult scene, as a cloud of sorrow and grief hung over him and the other mourners.

As Njoroge viewed the body of his wife Njoki lying in the wooden coffin, he broke down helplessly.

He could not contain his emotions as he looked upon the lifeless body of the love of his life, who had died too soon.

Njoroge surrounded during body viewing

The men with him tried to comfort and support him, but he was too overwhelmed to compose himself.

He was not the only one deeply affected. A picture also showed a woman overcome with grief during the body viewing.

She was surrounded by other women in black and yellow uniforms who gently supported her as she mourned.

Several other women were visibly shaken and had to be comforted during the tearjerking moment.

Social media users flooded the comments section with messages of condolence and encouragement to the grieving keyboardist:
