Kenyans react to Alice Wahome's son's admission to bar

Social media users flocked to the comment section sharing mixed reactions following the news.

Evans Cheruiyot:

"Everyone should congratulate their mentors. Congratulations Dr. Dr. Hon. Babu Owino – MP for Embakasi."

Mugo Ng'ayu:

"This is a cousin I don't know... but I do know a friend of his father – Dr. Ng’ayu, the gynecologist."

Sebastian Mpemba:

"Rule of law reminds me of Constitutional Law. Integrity reminds me of Legal and Professional Ethics."

Festus Buluma:

"At least this one isn't flaunting it. Some people behave like a toothless person who’s just grown a tooth. I didn’t mention anyone! 😂"

Onchoka Mabiria:

"So will you now give him a construction job in the Affordable Housing project, since you claim it's created millions of jobs?"

Chris Njoroge:

"Legal titles don’t erase past controversies. Babu Owino’s admission isn’t a redemption arc—it’s a reminder that Kenya’s elite navigate the system with ease while justice remains elusive for many. The real story isn’t the ceremony; it’s whether these new advocates will uphold the law or exploit it like their predecessors."
