How did Tichor Silas make it from the village?
He said he had achieved everything he has today through hard work, multiple scholarships, and unwavering trust in God.
Now a doctor, Silas said all the struggles were worth it, as the tides had finally turned in his family’s favour.
“Not by our strength, but by God’s grace and unrelenting favour. In the very spot where the old house stood, a new one now rises. A symbol of hope. Proof that God never abandons His own,” he shared.
Silas also encouraged anyone facing similar challenges not to lose hope, saying he is living proof that every dream is possible.
“And intentionally, I hope that the students across the hill (my former school) from my parents’ home will see this and know it is possible,” he concluded.
