Nairobi — At just 19 years old, Lynne Fancy Brenda is already making a powerful impact both on and off the runway.

A student of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Nairobi, Lynne has turned her passion for modelling into a platform for advocacy and humanitarian service.
Modelling awards Lynne has won
Lynne told TUKO.co.ke that she was born and raised in the Railways area of Kisumu Town but currently resides in Nairobi to pursue her studies.

While her weekdays are packed with lectures and academic responsibilities, weekends and holidays are devoted to modelling and giving back to society.
So far, she has earned two humanitarian awards and seven modelling titles, all of which she sees as tools to uplift others.
Through her beauty and charisma, she boasts several prestigious titles, including Miss Teen Campuses Kenya and a coveted win at the Kenya Campus Awards, where she was named Humanitarian Activist of the Year 2025.
Projects undertaken by Lynne
But for Lynne, these accolades are not just about glitz and glamour.
"Every title I win, I dedicate it to charity," she says.
In 2020, Lynne founded Penda Africa Organisation, a non-profit initiative dedicated to protecting the rights of minorities and supporting underprivileged members of society.
Through the organisation, she has led numerous charity drives, distributing sanitary pads to needy girls, food to street children, and sugar to elderly citizens, especially during festive seasons like Christmas.

Where does Lynne do charity projects?
Her roots trace back to Seme Kombewa in Kisumu County, and despite being based in Nairobi, her heart remains with the communities she serves across the country.
On weekends, Lynne trains in modelling and prepares for events, sharpening her skills while maintaining her commitment to social change.
With a promising future in journalism and an unshakable dedication to service, Lynne Fancy Brenda is not just walking the runway—she’s paving the way for a more compassionate and inclusive Kenya.

Kisumu man helping children grow through talent
Another philanthropist touching the lives of underprivileged children is Musa Ondu from Kisumu.
His desire to help humanity stems from the fact that he longed for a platform to express and grow his talent as a child, but it never existed.
When he grew up, he made it a mission to nurture and empower young people through creative arts, music, dance, and drama.

Through a talent academy in Kisumu, he offers children what he never had growing up—an opportunity to be seen, heard, and celebrated.
The academy, which primarily serves children who lack access to formal arts training, has become a beacon of hope and expression.
