Nairobi: Betsy Simon, one of the newest lawyers in town, has showered praises on her dear husband for educating her through university and thereby keeping his word to her dad.

How did Betsy's husband support her?
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Betsy said that during her ruracio (dowry ceremony), Wa Kiai promised her dad and grandfather that he would make sure she would be admitted to the Kenya School of Law.

"Let me publicly give this man his flowers! Six years down the line, you have kept that promise," gushed Betsy.

"You paid for the exams, resists after resits without any complaint, revised with me over and over, and even when you were overwhelmed by work, you still made time to teach me Commercial Transactions. Your response every time the results came out was, 'register we do it in the next sitting," she added.

Why is Betsy a spoilt princess?
Additionally, Betsy said that if there was a role Wa Kiai took seriously, it was providing for the family.
"Especially me. For the last six years, every time I have asked for something, your response has been, how much or get me the budget. I have never gotten a no and we don't have money from you," she said.
"I am a spoiled princess. Thank you for being my rock, my provider, and my greatest cheerleader. Your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed and I am forever grateful for the life we are building together," she added.
How did the couple share duties?
Betsy told TUKO.co.ke that her advocate husband not only helped her study for the exams and how to approach questions, he also, drove her to the exam venues.
"Being that we have young kids, a five-year-old and a one-year-old, he played a big role in making sure that I was comfortable, and in a conducive environment to study all the time," she said.
Betsy said that she wanted the world to know what a great man, her husband, supportive partner, great dad, and most importantly what a wonderful human being Wa Kiai is.
"Please allow me just for today to say, My man, my man, my man," she said.
Woman thanks Kalenjin husband for educating her
In another story, a Kenyan woman wrote a moving letter to her husband, AnthonyKorir,r to show her deep gratitude for his support as she was studying.
In the letter, the woman thanked her husband for being her pillar of strength when she was in college.
Additionally, she acknowledged the role he was playing in her life, stating that he was always there when she needed him the most.
