Francis Mokua: Anxiety as Kca Engineering Student Goes Missing after Lecture

Nairobi, Kenya: A Kenyan family is anxious after their son, Francis Mokua went missing after attending a lesson at KCA University.

What happened to Francis Mokua?

According to a missing person poster, Mokua is a First-Year BSc Software in Engineering Development student at KCA at he was last seen on May 23.

"He went to school and never came back. His family is deeply concerned and searching urgently," read a part of the post.

Mokua's family asks for prayers

According to philanthropic cop Sammy Ondimu Ngare, Mokua's phone was switched off and that heightened anxiety even more.

"This boy is a student at KCA University. He attended classes on Friday last week but never got back home and that day his phone was off. Please circulate and also remember to say a word of prayer for this difficult situation," said Ngare.

Murang'a University student goes missing

In another story, Erick Joseph Irungu from Cooperative University in Karen, Nairobi, went missing on April 13.

According to his heartbroken mum, his family searched extensively for him and they even visited hospitals and the City Mortuary, without any success

The family appealed to the public as well as the government for help to find their beloved son and pleaded for those with any information to act fast.

Other missing Kenyan university students

  • A Kiambu family was searching for their 19-year-old son identified as Elvis Munene Kaberia. The latter was a KCA University student and he vanished on January 29, 2025, after speaking to his mum
  • Jonathan Nabwera Simiyu, a KU student, went missing after he went to pick up a laptop from Joash Wamnyokoli on Saturday, September 28. Wamnyokoli had invited Simiyu, to a graduation party in the Utawala neighbourhood
