Hilarious video of Homa Bay man praising William Ruto goes viral: "Chai hakukunywa"

On Madaraka Fay as the spotlight was on President William Ruto and the Orange Democratic Movement's (ODM) Raila Odinga in Homa Bay county, little Kemboi was hogging all of it in Uasin Gishu County.

His attention-grabbing marching skills spilled over to social media, where many people praised him for marching skillfully and changing styles, which ended up with him removing his cap.

However, as the sweet boy confidently marched in front of a huge crowd, no one would have known that he had KSh 6000 in school fees arrears at Mt Zion Academy in the county.

"He comes from a humble family; both parents are alive, they come from A place called Koitoror in Tembelio ward but are needy. In 2024, President William Ruto's aide Farouk Kibet offered to help him but the help never saw the light of day," said Chemos Vincent, who shared the video of the confidently marching boy.

"His mum approached us and said that apart from bringing Kemboi to participate in the ceremony, she also came to seek help on clearing his fees. We paid KSh 6000, right there and then," he said.

How can Kenyans help Kemboi?

Although Kemboi's fees for the term have been cleared, the well-wishers have no idea where the rest is going to come from to ensure that he is comfortable in school.

Other well-wishers may have to step in and help Kemboi clear school, as his mother is not in a position to do so owing to their family status.

Anyone who may want to help Kemboi more can reach out to Chemos on 0723157153.

Kenyans raise KSh 350k for needy boy

In another story, Kenyans once again joined hands to help a struggling boy, who needed KSh 350,000 to return to school.

Wanyonyi used to attend Bungoma High School but sadly had to drop out in 2022 because he was unable to pay fees that were in arrears.

Due to the unpaid fees, philanthropist Ndungu Nyoro spearheaded a campaign to ensure that the boy returned to school and it raised over KSh 350,000 in hours and the relieved young man returned to school.
