A family in Vihiga county is now relieved after comedian Eric Omondi heard their cry and came to their aid.

The father of one assisted the family in giving their loved one a proper send-off months after her sudden death.
Elizabeth Chausi unfortunately passed away while in Saudi Arabia, but the cause of her death was not disclosed.
Her grandmother appealed to Eric in a heartbreaking video, asking him to help repatriate her granddaughter's body.

How much did Eric raise for Vihiga family?
"Hey guys, you remember our sister Elizabeth Chausi who died in Saudi Arabia five months ago. Team Sisi kwa Sisi managed to raise KSh 1.1 million and brought her home on Friday. She was buried today in Vihiga County. God did!!! Team Sisi kwa Sisi, we did it again. God bless you," Eric wrote.
He shared a video showing how the procession went from the arrival of Chausi’s body from the Gulf country.
In the video, Eric is seen walking between the grandmother who had reached out to him and a little boy, with a hearse behind them.
He held hands with the two family members as they walked along the tarmac road at the airport on their way to the burial site.

The footage captured Eric’s arrival at the burial venue, walking between a young boy and girl, whom he gently embraced.
People had already gathered, with many sitting under tents, looking sorrowful on the emotional day.
Eric carried the young girl on his lap while another man carried the young boy during the burial ceremony.
Chausi’s grandmother was overjoyed to meet Eric, and they vigorously shook hands when he was invited to speak at the occasion.

Vihiga woman carried in white coffin
There was singing and dancing as Chausi’s white coffin was carried by pallbearers to the gravesite.
Eric led the way, holding the hands of the two children on either side as they made their way to the final resting place.
The content creator looked deeply sorrowful as Chausi’s coffin was slowly lowered into the grave in her village home.
He even helped cover the grave with soil, fully participating in the ceremony and showing his heartfelt support to the family.

Dan Wema builds house for homeless Kakamega granny
In a separate story, Apostle Dan Wema also showed his kind side by mobilizing well-wishers to build a decent house for a woman in Kakamega.
Agnes was allegedly ruthlessly chased away by her in-laws who did not want her to own any property.
She had also lost seven children and had buried the seventh one by the roadside, as she had no land to bury him properly.
