Elizabeth Chausi: Well-Wisher Vows to Educate Children of Vihiga Woman Who Died in Saudi Arabia

Vihiga: The late Elizabeth Chausi's grandmother can now heave a sigh of relief as she will not have to struggle with the kids her granddaughter left behind.

What happened to Elizabeth Chausi?

The resilient granny first shot into the limelight when she learnt that Chausi had died in Saudi Arabia under mysterious circumstances.

She knew that she didn't want to let Chausi's body to remain in Saudi and the only way was to ask Eric Omondi for help to have the body repatriated and give the family much-needed closure.

Omondi and his Sisi Ka Sisi team raised KSh 1 million for the body of the young lady to come home and eventually, it came home, where the family buried their loved one in an emotional ceremony.

Who is Fred Kahura?

Now that the burial mission has been accomplished, the children left behind will also be educated for free by Fred Kahura. The latter is a director at Golden Dreams Land And Properties Limited.

Speaking at the burial service, Kahura said:

"These kids have to go to school whether the parents are there or not. We should let Chausi rest; these one swill join the system and I will pay their school fees," he said.
"They will go to the schools of the rich and later ven abroad the way their mum had opened a doorf or them," he added.

Omondi helps woman with parents in morgue
