How do parents handle sudden loss of their children?
TUKO.co.ke spoke to Jedida Wafula, a Nairobi-based psychologist who stated that people handle grief differently.
She noted that some parents may fall into prolonged and intense depression and stop going about their daily routine.
Others she noted would withdraw from their friends and have conversations about joining their children or even dying.
“They may need therapy to help manage the grief because the more the feelings build up, the more it gets worse, especially when it’s a case of depression,” she shared.

It’s so sad, after all the sacrifices and school stress, up and down. Chaii, Sandra, I can’t believe this. May God accept your soul and that of your sister, and comfort the entire family."
Marcel Dagreat:
"I would advise the local community in that area to install speed bumps, because the government will never do that. The speed at which drivers travel on that road is alarming."
