A family in Elgeyo Marakwet county has been thrown into mourning following the death of their dear son, who was found dead in his apartment in Washington, United States of America.

In a post shared by Gotabgaa International, it emerged that Evans Kibiwott was found dead on June 27, 2025, in his apartment at Northgate-Seattle (Washington). He had failed to report to work for three days.

"The coroner’s report indicated that he died on June 24, 2025," said Gotabgaa.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Evans Kibiwott Kangogo, the son of the late Michael Kandagor and Mary from Kipkalwa Village, Kapkoi-Chebior Sub Location -Elgeyo Marakwet county, Kenya," read another part of the post.

Where did Evans Kibiwott go to school?

Kibiwott was a proud alumnus of St. Patrick's High School-Iten, class of 2012, and the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), class of 2016.

Another story saddened many people as a middle-aged man, Joshua Mwangi, sadly died and was found all alone in his house.

Kariuki, who was in the army, left to start life outside, and everything was okay until his wife died; things started changing.

To add salt to the injury, things became worse when he was diagnosed with a Grade Four cancer.
