Some people were afraid that he might fall on the highway. Thankfully, the roads had been barricaded, and there were no cars on the busy highway so that meant that there was no risk from cars.

There was, however, the risk of him getting badly hurt in case he fell on the road, but he made it through to the top.

Some people opined that it was his way of protesting peacefully, and a section of Kenyans agreed with them, saying that was better than harming anybody.

Why were Kenyans disturbed by the hung flag?

After the man reached the top, he hung the flag upside down, and that astounded many people; the green was up while the colour black was down.

In some quarters, it is seen as a sign of distress, and many people said that it seemed like the man was trying to show that the country was in distress.
