According to Evangelist Mercy Nungari, the baby identified as Khaemba was rescued and rushed to the hospital, where he is now under medical care.
Why boy's father took him from mother
The child's father, who is alleged to have forcefully taken him from the mother, has since been arrested.

“Our boy from Kimilili was rescued and taken to the hospital,” Nungari posted on her social media platform. “The evil father was arrested, too. Quick recover,y baby Khaemba.”

Sources close to the family revealed that the mother had fled an abusive home in a bid to protect herself and the child from continued mistreatment.
Sadly, her attempt to escape was thwarted when the father tracked her down and forcibly took the baby from her.
“We have talked with the mother,” added Nungari. “She had run away with the child, but the man followed her and took the baby by force.

It emerged that before she decided to run away, the woman was being mistreated and assaulted by her husband.
The case has sparked renewed calls for stronger protections for victims of domestic violence and swift legal action to ensure the safety of vulnerable family members.
Residents of Kimilili have expressed outrage over the incident, calling on local authorities to ensure justice is served and the child receives the necessary medical and psychological support.
The rescued baby is expected to make a full recovery. Investigations are ongoing.

Father caught on video caning young son
In an earlier story, police in Nakuru launched a search for a man who was captured beating up his son with a belt.
Kenyans from all walks of life expressed disappointment at the fact that, at some point, the abrasive father removed his clothes to make the beating worse.
After the video went viral, the man took off in the wee hours of the morning with the little boy and was last seen in Eldoret.
