Kenyan Family in US Shattered as Son Who Went Missing 3 Weeks Ago Is Found Dead

Maryland, USA: George Njoroge, a young man who had been reported missing three weeks ago, has sadly been found dead.

George was the son of Peter and Virginia Njoroge of Silver Spring, Maryland, and has been missing since Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

At the time, Njoroge's family and friends asked for help to find the missing 29-year-old in Maryland.

"The Montgomery County Police – 4th District Investigative Section is actively investigating and asking for the public’s help," read the missing person's poster.

People who had any information on the missing man were asked to contact the Montgomery County Police non-emergency line.

Where was George Njoroge last seen?

George, who died at 29 years old, was a US-born Kenyan and was last seen at the 900 block of Windmill Terrace in Silver Spring, Maryland.

"I want to thank everyone who took the time to share my post regarding my cousin George. Unfortunately, we found him deceased," confirmed his cousin Emmanuel on the GoFundMe page he had created to raise funds
"Our community is doing the best we can to cover the funeral set for the end of this week. Apologies for the last minute, but please assist me in providing his parents with what you can in support of George. Peace and blessings to all of you, and thank you again, said his cousin.

While some people tried their best to help Njoroge's family look for him, others also helped the family with money for the funeral.

Njoroge graduated from the University of Maryland and will be remembered as a bright, smiling presence.

The family celebrated the life of beloved George at a funeral Service
set for Friday, July 11, 2025, 11:00 am at Living Word International Church, 16819 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20905

He was buried after the service at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832.

The young man who had not shown up to work was sadly found dead in his house, and that raised many questions for people both at home and abroad.

Apparently, Kibiwott was so dedicated to his work that his absence raised eyebrows among many people.
