How Francis Wokabi disappeared

A family member told TUKO.co.ke that Wokabi was last seen on the morning of Thursday, June 26, when he reported to work as usual.

According to his employer, he appeared to be in normal spirits before stepping out shortly after arrival, saying “nakuja in a few.”

He never returned and has not been seen or heard from since, and efforts to contact him through his phone have been futile as it is unreachable.

“He seemed okay, according to the boss,” the family member added. “We are clinging to hope, even as the uncertainty wears us down.”

Details of how he was dressed on the day he disappeared have not been shared, but he is fond of wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and a cap.

The family’s anguish deepens each day, with every potential lead leading to more questions than answers.

They have made an emotional plea to the public, urging anyone with information on the whereabouts of the 30-year-old to come forward.

"I pray that wherever you are, you are safe. I pray that somehow, despite everything, you find your way back to us,” reads a heartfelt message from a family member. “We just want to see you home again, so our hearts can breathe, and our minds can finally rest.”

Wokabi hails from Karatina and is an alumnus of Mathaithi Primary School. The case has been reported to Limuru Town Police Station, and the search is ongoing.

Missing Form 4 boy returns home

Teddy Oduor Owino, a Form Four student, reportedly sneaked out of school and disappeared without a trace, raising concerns for his family.
