“Sio rahisi kujenga. Nilijikataza vitu mingi ili nijenge nyumba,” he said, reflecting on the sacrifices he made to achieve his goal.

Before building a permanent house, the social media personality lived in a wooden structure, which exposed him to weather elements.

Kenyans doubt Kelvin's house budget

Kelvin used the moment to encourage fellow youth to embrace strategic financial planning and self-restraint, especially when working toward long-term goals like home ownership.

While some praised his financial discipline and the power of digital entrepreneurship, some questioned the reported construction cost.

"Congratulations, but naona mafundi walieka foundation kama umelala, sasa cracking itaanza," noted Momanyi Lewis.

Kelvin unfazed by critics

Despite the scepticism, Kelvin remains unfazed by the criticism and continues to use his platform to inspire others, urging them not to be discouraged by negativity or naysayers.
