How did Calvin's boss handle his absence?
"Imagine being out of your workstation for a cool six months and was not bothered whether he was going to lose your; there was a possibility if him being sacked," she said.
"He was a troop without a commander; it therefore means that if the shop sinks, you both sink. That person you are caring for does not have income, and neither do you. But who is God, his job is still there; they only told him that they would not give him salary of one month," she added.

How did Calvin help his aunt?
According to the recovering woman, Calvin wiped her whenever she went of a long call at his age.
"And yet I am his mother. Calvin, you are a gem. Without you, I don't know. If there is anything that has given me a strong will to live, it is you, because I could see the effort the young man put in everything," she said.
It turned out that Joyce is the one who educated Calvin, among other young ones in the family.
"Calvin has taken care of me like a child from my womb. There is nothing that the boy has not done for me. He did the same for my mother; my mum died when she got a fracture and could not walk again," said Joyce.
"Before that, Calvin used to carry her everywhere and yet he was such a young boy in primary school," she added.
Additionally, Calvin included Joyce as his next of kin at work, insisting that he absolutely trusts her with his children.
How did Kenyans react to Calvin?

How Joyce lost husband and other kids
Joyce's husband and children died after having a good time with family and friends back in the village.
After the festivities, Joyce's husband and their two boys decided to return to the city and left Joyce with Georgina.
As soon as the trio reached Narok, they encountered flash floods that carried their car away and by the time they were found, their bodies were messed up because of the water.
Joyce's mother could not believe that the trio was dead, and she lasted for only six months. Her husband, Joyce's dad, collapsed and died after learning of his wife's death.
