  • The process started in earnest, and as curious villagers as well as scared family members looked on, waiting to see what would come out, eventually they were taken to the police station

Like a cherry on top of a horrible cake, a cross had also been planted at the top side of the grave, and a stranger strolling into the compound would be forgiven if they thought that the family had lost a member.

How was the Runyenjes grave decorated?

"We woke up and found the grave, and don't know who would do such a thing to us," said one of the family members in the TikTok video shared by Gitonga Wa Nyagah.
"I was at home when my sister called and said there was a grave at home and I cam to see for myself. I didn't know which message they are trying to send us," she added.

Some people were even afraid that someone had been murdered and buried in the grave, but upon some digging, it was established that it was empty.

The police were called to the scene and helped with the digging and they eventually took the cross and other paraphernalia away.

Pastor Difon Maoncha told TUKO.co.ke that the matter ought to be approached and dealt with through spiritual eyes.

"Ever read a story of a certain politician who lost a son a few days after finding a small coffin abandoned at his gate? That’s how witchcraft works, through spiritual acts, rituals, and enchantments," he said.

The man of God added that there is a way out, as he quoted Hebrews 12:24 from the Holy Book to offer comfort to the family.

"Let them take a bottle of water as a representation of the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than that of Abel, according to scripture. They should confess this at 3am for one hour, then pour the water on the grave. They should speak to the land and confess life, not death," he advised.
