This ritual-like practice continued for some time, with many netizens questioning the significance of the dance.

According to Delta First Son, his late uncle had ‘refused’ to be buried, adding to the family's distress.

“My uncle’s body refuses to be buried and has not stopped bleeding for the past 48 hours. We need a solution for this,” he wrote.

He further explained that elders from the village consulted a spiritual expert to understand why the burial could not proceed and why the blood-like liquid was seeping from the body.

He did not reveal what the spiritualist said but remarked that the experience had made him cautious about trust.

“Now, in this life, I’ve learnt only to trust myself, not even my mother or father. Just myself,” he said.

Ella Bella:

“There are three options: either he was killed by someone close to him, probably a family member who attended the burial; or his soul is not at rest, maybe there’s something he didn’t finish doing while alive; or he was discovered dead when he wasn’t actually dead. If he died a painful death ☠️ I suggest you call a spiritualist to see what’s wrong, because something is probably not right.”

Lana Brindle:

“Simple explanation: the body wasn’t drained properly during the post-mortem. Gases can build up, especially while the coffin is above ground, and the only way for the fluids to escape is through cracks. He’s not alive, that’s bodily fluid.”

Oluwatooni:

“Maybe he’s not even fully dead, because when someone dies, the heart that pumps blood stops working, so blood doesn’t flow. And if any blood does come out, it would be very dark and watery. All organs in the body, except the ears, stop working immediately after death, including the heart that pumps blood to every part of the body.”
