Bungoma Family Seeks Help to Bury Mum, 2 Sons Who Perished in Grisly Kimilili Accident

Bungoma, Kenya: A family in Bungoma county is devastated after losing three members in a grisly road accident.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke , Evaline Manyonga said that the three, Rose Mekesa Kwoba, Hesborn Wafula, and Ian Wanjala, were travelling together when they got involved in an accident.

"The two sons were at Makahanga Hope Secondary School and Maliki Friends Secomdary School. Your support will help them pay for mortuary, buy coffins for them and transport the bodies for burial," said Evaline.

Now the family is stuck, as the burial expenses are too high, and they are calling on members of the public to help raise the money.

On July 16, the family held a harambee at their home to try and raise some money as well, but sadly, it was not enough.

Other families that lost multiple members

  • Two young men were relaxing at home as their spouses stepped out to buy some food that was nearby. Little did they know that it would be the last time they were going to see the ladies who had happily left them in the vehicle.

  • A family in Ngusero village was mourning after a tragic road crash that occurred and claimed the lives of four family members, who were travelling to a wedding. The accident left 29 people injured and killed a total of 38 others, including the family members and their four tenants.

Family views bodies of loved ones who were in accident

In another story, painful screams rent the air at the Naivasha Funeral Home as the relatives of six family members viewed the bodies of their loved ones.

The deceased included three brothers who sadly died in the road accident together with three kids. A woman sadly lost her husband and three kids in the accident.

Kenyans consoled the family who suffered a devastating loss and had divulged that they had a big budget to bury their loved ones because they were being buried on the same day.
