Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, a resident identified as Ephantus Karuno shared that the man has been conning Othaya residents for a long time and this time they were going to have none of it.

How does the man act in Othaya police stations?

"He will come to your bar, drink and then eat, but when the bill comes, he will just keep quiet then eventually say he doesn't have any money. When they take him to the police, he doesn't talk and when thrown into the cell, he collapses and demands meds," said Karuno.
"At that point, the police are forced to release him and when he returns, he starts moving around with women," he added.
