Why Marie booked one-way ticket

Marie and her son booked a one-way ticket since she is home to heal her homesickness, and her son is on summer holiday.

The idea behind the one-way ticket was to avoid the pressure of thinking about the return date, as she only wants to go back when her mind is ready.

“It does feel extremely good to be back in Kenya. Grateful that I can do this when I want to. I am aware some may want, but for one reason or another, they can’t,” Marie said.

Marie, who built a following online through her lifestyle content, hinted that her new adventures in Kenya and Africa at large will soon be featured on her platforms.
