In a viral, bittersweet video, the drama unfolded as the young girl knocked on their metallic door, seemingly aware that she was already late.

Her mother was waiting for her, ready to rain hell on her, as she did not tolerate her daughter returning home late.

The mum opened the door wide for her daughter, who was unaware of the fury awaiting her.

Where was Kisii girl coming from?

She asked her where she was coming from, to which the daughter proudly replied, "Birthday."

"Whose birthday? Whom did you inform that you were attending a birthday party? What time is it that you are returning home? How many times have I warned you? How many times have I warned you?" the mother angrily questioned her daughter, pointing the wooden stick at her as the scared girl lifted her hands in fear and repentance.

The mum scolded her, saying that whenever she advised her, she would smile showing she never took the warnings seriously.

She asked her if she had become a man to be returning home almost at midnight, as the young girl tried to defend herself.

"When you leave home, you have to tell someone where you're going. It’s not about leaving the house and coming back like a man. Who is your watchman here? Have you hired a security guard?
Let it be the last time. When you leave, you must say where you are going," the mother roared, almost hitting her daughter with the mwiko.

The woman warned her daughter, imploring her to value her life, reminding her how dangerous the world had become.

"This world is not yours," she warned.
