In a painful turn of events, Taita Taveta MCA Duncan Wangama has been thrown into mourning again, following the death of his newborn daughter, baby Judy.

Wangama, the MCA of Wushi Kishamba ward in Taita Taveta County, recently touched hearts online after photos of him painfully mourning during his wife Stella's burial emerged.
As the MCA struggles to come to terms with the devastating loss of his wife, another blow strikes: his newborn daughter, whom she left behind a little over a week ago, has also passed on.
The news of the baby's death was shared online by a close family member, Mzee Savalanga, who revealed the little one died on the morning of Sunday.

"Dear friends, with a heavy and broken heart, I inform you we have lost baby Judy this morning. We ask for your prayers specifically for our brother Wangama Duncan. Thank you," he said.
Taking to his Facebook, the MCA wrote a painful post, mourning the loss of his beloved baby girl who was just a few days old.
"Oh my God, why all these. My daughter Judy mbona?" he said.
Savalanga announced that the baby's burial will be held tomorrow, Monday, July 21.
"Dear friends, We come to you again: Following the passing on of Baby Judy Wanjugha Wangama, we kindly request your support in burial preparation, scheduled to happen tomorrow 21st July, 2025," he said.
He said financial support to the family can be channelled to Patrick Mwakufu on 0716132294 to assist them in giving the little one a befitting send-off.

MCA Wangama's colleague consoles him
Bura MCA is among the colleagues who have consoled Wangama amidst the immense grief and loss that he is facing.
Anthony Mng’ambwa, the Bura representative, said his heart was aching following the fresh wave of tragedy that had hit Wangama, his colleague in the Taita Taveta County Assembly.
"My heart breaks for my colleague and brother, Hon.Duncan Wangama-Igho Itini-MCA Wusi Kishamba, who, after recently laying his beloved wife to rest, has now lost his precious daughter Baby Judy. There are no words deep enough for such sorrow. I stand with you, my brother, in prayer and solidarity," he said.
MCA Wangama's wife's death
As earlier reported, the MCA lost his wife a little over a week ago.
Stella died after giving birth to baby Judy. She developed complications leading to her untimely death in the delivery room.
A statement from the Taita Taveta County Assembly indicated that:
"On behalf of the Members of the County Assembly and the staff of the County Assembly of Taita Taveta, I express our deepest sympathies to Hon. Wangama for his immense loss. May the Almighty God rest Stellah's soul in eternal peace and grant comfort and strength to all those she leaves behind," the statement indicated."
