Lorna Sokkie Keno met her fate while in the home compound one morning, shortly before having breakfast.

The 56-year-old woman's death came as a shock to her family, as it was sudden and she had shown no signs of being ill.

Why was Keno returning to Kenya from abroad?

Speaking to Kaka Sungura of Bosongo Vibes, a journalist told TUKO.co.ke that Keno had returned home from abroad for a holiday.

“She had been living in Switzerland for 30 years and had returned with her sister for a vacation in Kisii. They had a good stay until three days before Keno was to return to Switzerland. On the day she passed away, she asked for strong tea, saying she was not feeling well. That was the beginning of her issue. Some of her family members helped her out of bed and took her outside.
It was at that moment that she collapsed and died on the spot, but the family initially thought she was just unconscious. They began looking for a way to take her to the hospital. They called her sister, who had travelled with her, but she was far away and advised them to seek an alternative. It took a while before they could find a solution and get her to the hospital, where the doctors sadly confirmed she had already passed away,” he said.

Where was Keno buried?

Keno’s sister suspected something strange, as her sibling died just hours before they were scheduled to board their flight back to Switzerland.

She told Sungura that there had been bizarre occurrences involving their family, and she suspected witchcraft.

“She said there had been odd experiences at their home. At one point, she found something resembling a coffin with Swiss coins outside the house. Their other siblings also either suffer from mental health challenges or are addicts — they lack direction,” he said.

Keno’s body was returned to Switzerland, where she was buried in a small ceremony as requested by her husband.
