He made the day special by renovating the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya in Mogotio, Muserechi.

Kiprotich told TUKO.co.ke that he felt the urge to thank God for keeping him alive and decided to channel his gratitude into a meaningful project.

He explained that the idea took shape during the ordination ceremony of Reverend Sammy Kogo, a close friend.

Why Kiprotich upgraded pastor's car

The renovation project took two months, during which Kiprotich brought in skilled fundis from Nairobi to carry out the transformation.

“It was my birthday, and I needed to thank God for keeping me alive to that age. This is my home church, and though I’ve helped others before, it remained untouched,” he shared.

As a bonus act of kindness, Kiprotich also contacted friends to help raise funds to upgrade the Reverend’s small car.

The newly refurbished church now stands as a beacon of hope and generosity in Muserechi, symbolising how one man’s birthday became a blessing for an entire congregation.

“I’m not a politician, but I like contributing towards the work of God,” Kiprotich said, adding that it brings him fulfilment to see the church and its leadership better supported.

Kiprotich bought car for another pastor

Eric Kiprotich is no stranger to philanthropy, as he has been involved in many other activities to uplift his community.

In September 2024, he went viral for surprising Pst Agnes Kiptoo of Kabimoi Redeemed Gospel Church with a brand-new Nissan X-Trail.

The emotional moment unfolded during a surprise visitation at the pastor’s home, a gesture that left her shedding tears of joy.

Kiprotich explained that he felt compelled to upgrade Pst Agnes because her prayers had made him successful, yet she rode a motorbike to church every Sunday.
