The missing man's wife and children are living in agony since his disappearance, having not heard from him for a week.

His shattered wife emotionally recounted the last interaction she had with him before he went missing under mysterious circumstances.

When did Tanzanian boda rider go missing?

She shared that she had been with him on that fateful day as he accompanied her to the salon before he bid her goodbye.

“It was on Monday, July 21, when my husband went missing. He woke up that morning and told me he wanted me to go to the salon. He promised to send me money. I prepared myself, and later we went to the salon. He left me there and said he was going to run some errands and would be back later. He gave me the keys and left,” she said.

When the Tanzanian lady was done, she tried to call her husband, but his phone was not going through.

She tried again and again, each time at one-hour intervals, hoping to reach him, but her efforts were fruitless.

“I stepped out, and with the help of my friends, we started looking for him at all costs. We went to different police stations, but no one had seen him that day.
I went to the police station the following day and was told to wait for 24 hours before he could be considered missing. It was inevitable—later, he was officially declared missing, and I was given an OB number,” she said.

The worried lady visited her husband's employer, who had loaned her husband his motorbike to work as a boda boda operator.

He also said he had not heard from his employee since the previous day, despite trying to reach out to him.

“I asked my husband's boss to track the bike because wherever the vehicle would be, my husband would definitely be there or nearby.
He tracked it, and the bike was found at the police station. He called to inform me about the update,” she said.

However, there were no leads or further information on the whereabouts of the boda rider, as the police said they were still looking for him.

Nairobi missing boda rider found in City Mortuary

Closer to home, a cloud of grief covered Githurai, Nairobi, after a missing boda boda rider was found dead.

Martin Kamande, a Bolt boda rider who also worked as a mechanic, was found dead at City Mortuary.

Kamande had failed to return home after leaving for work, prompting his family to begin searching for him.
