Nandi County – A sombre mood has engulfed the Rift Valley following the tragic death of a young man, Malulu Tiony Kipz, a student at Ziwa Technical Training Institute, who was found dead on Sunday morning.

The heartbreaking incident came just hours after Malulu made two cryptic posts on his Facebook page that many initially mistook for dark humour.
Malulu Tiony's cryptic RIP post
On Saturday evening, he uploaded a photo of himself with the haunting caption: "Rest in peace legend, We shall meet again." In the image, he had circled his figure.

Just two minutes later, he followed it with another concerning post:
"Kama unajua huyu jama drop you contact alipatikana kwa nyumba kama amekufa tulienda kwa contacts hakuna hata moja, photos pia hakuna hata moja," loosely translated to: “If you know this guy, drop your contact—he was found in the house as if dead, we went through the contacts and found none, not even a single photo.”
Alarmed friends flooded the comments section, asking what was bothering him, but Malulu’s only reply was equally cryptic:
“Alipatikana kwa nyumba kama amekufa,” meaning “He was found in the house as if dead.”
How Malulu Tiony's body was discovered
Many assumed it was a grim joke or a philosophical expression, until Sunday morning, when the unthinkable became a reality.
The young student was discovered lifeless in his room at the institute, having allegedly taken his own life.
According to preliminary reports, his body was found hanging, sending shockwaves across the school and his village.

Kisii blogger dies after cryptic post about death
In another tragedy, police in Kisii county are investigating the mysterious death of a blogger identified as Duke Nyabaro.
It emerged that less than a month before his demise, Nyabaro had shared a popular quote about death.
In the post, Nyabaro shared that death must be so beautiful as it allows the deceased to forget time, to forgive life, and to be at peace.
