"It was burnout. Unchecked. Unspoken. Unseen. We call it being strong. We call it pushing through. But our bodies call it depletion," she captioned it.
Pamela lamented that midlife women were powering through exhaustion, pressure, pain—until there’s nothing left.
She reiterated that the worrying trend must stop through crafting a new way to live, not just survive.
Friends and loved ones describe Quita as someone who gave her all, working seven days a week, constantly on the move.
According to them, she often pushed herself beyond the limits of physical and emotional endurance.
“She loved deeply, shared generously, and connected authentically,” one of the tributes read. “Her final post was more than a passing comment—it was a cry for help, and a lesson for us all.”

Who was Quita Cole?
Born on June 3, 1984, and a graduate of John Overton High School in the Nashville Davidson County School system, Quita was just weeks shy of her 41st birthday.
From a young age, she was known for her outgoing nature, ambitious vision, and an unwavering dedication to her dreams.
Through QC Kitchen, Quita turned her restaurant into a gift for the community, courtesy of her tireless work ethic, generous spirit, and culinary passion that touched countless lives.
Each meal she prepared reflected not just her talent, but her heart.

Quita Cole was deeply religious
Beyond the kitchen, Quita was deeply rooted in her faith.
She was baptised by Dr. Breonus Mitchell Sr. at Greater Grace Temple Community Church, and her spiritual foundation was a guiding force in both her personal and professional life.
As Nashville mourns, many are calling for greater awareness around burnout and mental health, particularly among entrepreneurs who often pour from empty cups.
“Let Quita’s life and legacy remind us of the importance of rest, balance, and self-care,” one friend wrote online.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the community continues to honour the life of a woman who gave so much of herself to others—and now, finally, rests.
