How to support Maxwell Korot's funeral

She added that the two lost their parents years ago and were being raised by their uncle, who also died in 2021.

Since then, they’ve had no one and dropped out of school because their uncle’s widow couldn’t afford the fees.

The family is now appealing for help to transport Maxwell’s body from Nairobi to their rural home in Turbo for burial.

They have no remaining relatives and are relying on well-wishers to ensure Maxwell gets a dignified sendoff.

“We’re not asking for much,” Melanie pleaded. “Just help us get his body home. Once it reaches Turbo, our village will take care of the rest.”
