Ryan's last weekend alive
One of their final cherished weekends together was, in hindsight, a twist of fate.
Ryan had been scheduled to attend a K9 training several hours away, but after forgetting his wallet, he turned around and chose to spend the weekend at home.
That weekend, they shared their last family dinner, a night now etched in her memory as sacred.
“It was the last time his family saw him healthy,” she recalled.

Then came the morning of the fatal sting. Unbeknownst to her, Ryan had recorded a short video of her working out.
In it, he affectionately calls her “The love of my life… motivated lady.” The clip went viral in the wake of his passing, drawing an outpouring of support online.
“That video gives me so much peace,” she added. “There was nothing left unsaid between us. He knew my heart, and I knew his.”
As she raises their children without him, she holds onto Ryan’s memory as a father who made every second count, even in the quiet knowledge that his time was fleeting.
“I believe our souls know when our time left on Earth is limited,” she concluded.
