On Wednesday, August 6, a military aircraft that was carrying eight people crashed in the southern Ashanti region, and President John Mahama's chief of staff shared the names of the people who were killed in the crash.

According to military leadership, the aircraft was carrying senior government officials who were en route to a national event.

Ernest got married to his longtime girlfriend on July 5, 2025, and the man passed on August 6, 2025.

Military chopper crashes in Kiambu

Another story revealed that a military plane crashed in Dagama area of Mwihoko, near Nairobi, in a tragic incident that occurred around 2pm.

All occupants on board the ill-fated plane are feared dead, though official confirmation has yet to be released.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the aircraft appeared to develop technical problems mid-air before later crashing into residential houses.

The aftermath of the accident was described as horrific, with a lot of scattered metal debris and what appeared to be human remains. Ambulances and firefighting vehicles rushed to the scene after the crash, as crowds of residents gathered in shock.
