AMREF Staff Break into Tears after Viewing Bodies of Colleagues Who Died in Mwihoko Plane Crash

Mwihoko, Kiambu: An AMREF plane sadly crashed, killing all on board, and when their colleagues arrived at the scene, they were inconsolable; a video has shown them consoling each other.

In a video shared on TikTok, the men and women are seen trying hard to work but would take some time to hug each other and just let the tears fall down their faces.

Some took the time to console the ones who were overwhelmed by emotions. Many people from all walks of life have shared kind words and wise gems for the difficult period.

"At this point have realised that life is unpredictable and it can actually end at any time. So sad," said a netizen identified as Ednah Anyumba.

What did AMREF say about Mwihoko crash?

The leadership of the ill-fated AMREF plane that crashed on Thursday, August 7, revealed that it was a high-performing jet that had never been taken in for mechanical failures.

According to Stephen Gitau, the AMREF Flying Doctors chief executive officer, the aircraft was routinely subjected to over-par checks, and the crews underwent high levels of training.

Six people died after the Cessna Citation XLS (5Y-FDM), fell and crashed into an estate.

Meanwhile, when the Cessna Citation 560 jet crashed in Mwihoko, it hit a building, and that is how the life of a 13 -year-old girl ended.

Many relatives and friends broke down, mourning the fatalities that occurred after the unprecedented plane crash.

A woman whose daughter was killed shared what her daughter was doing in the house right before she was killed.
