Lisa Kusiima hosted a two-in-one party for her house help, who was embarking on another chapter in her life.

Novas, who was already pregnant, was preparing to welcome her first child and turn over a new leaf.

Kusiima orders food for Novas

Kusiima invited friends and other people who had interacted with Novas to celebrate her.

She wanted her to feel special and see how much she was valued as she began a new chapter.

"Those that love us know Novas loves good food. I got out my stack of ribs, some amazing sausages, bringing timeless joy to this incredible celebration. Every bite was a reminder that love is best served warmly and together.
We had such a good time; lots of laughter and tears were shed because it’s a big transition for me, the kids, and for her as well. Novas has loved, served, and cared for our family with a level of grace that can never be repaid," Kusiima shared.

Kusiima, friends give Novas gifts

They also gave Novas gifts, including diapers, as she prepared to welcome her newborn.

From the party’s theme colour, blue, it was clear Novas was expecting a baby boy, as seen in the TikTok video.

Novas also delivered a tearful speech in front of her boss, her boss’s children, and friends who attended the celebration.

"If you have someone like Novas in your life, take a moment to celebrate them, appreciate them, give them their flowers while they can still smell them," Kusiima encouraged netizens.
