Eruu met his fate in Long’ech, Kerio Ward in Turkana Central after a horrible incident ended his life.
The young man was attacked and killed by a crocodile, leaving the school fraternity and his family in mourning.

"Turkana University student tragically dies after being attacked by a crocodile at Long’ech, Kerio Ward in Turkana Central.
The victim, Eruu, a second-year student and resident of Ngimuria village, was on a short holiday when he met his tragic death," read the post.
The post added that there had been a rising number of crocodile attacks on residents along the shores of Lake Turkana.

The news shattered many hearts as social media users headed to the comment section to pen emotional messages.

Kenyan medical student dies in Russia

Mahamud Hassan was studying in Russia, where he successfully graduated and was planning to fly back home.
However, he passed away just days before his return to Kenya, where he was to celebrate his academic achievement with his family.
Before his death, he had penned an emotional post appreciating his family for their support as he studied abroad.
Hassan appreciates his parents for unwavering support
In the post, Hassan thanked his mother and father for their unwavering support of him and the sacrifice they made to see him pursue his dream.
He did not take their commitment for granted, adding that he knew they struggled financially but still moved heaven and earth to take him to school.

Hassan also noted their heartfelt prayers were key to his educational success, understanding the importance of their religion.
