Wangui’s father, Charles Mugo, told TUKO.co.ke that his daughter disappeared two weeks ago on Sunday, July 27.

He shared that they had just returned from church, and he left the teenager and her siblings at home, only to return later and find she was missing.

Why did Grade 9 girl disappear from home?

“She had not argued with anyone, and if she had a problem, perhaps it was from the past, and I was not aware of it. After dropping her and her siblings, I left the house and was told she also left towards the evening,” said Mugo.

The devastated father noted that Wangui sometimes acts out, which is normal for teenagers when things do not go their way.

“She is just a teenager and behaves like that when she is upset, but she has never been away from home this long. I am worried and want my daughter back home,” he stated.

Where was Nacraine Wangui last seen?

The 14-year-old missing girl is a Grade Nine pupil at Edwijet Education Centre located in Githurai 45, Kiambu county.

She was last seen at Mwiki Primary School on July 27 at around 5.30 pm.

Wangui was wearing navy blue jeans, a white t-shirt, a light green pullover, and Crocs.

The devastated father urged anyone with information about his daughter’s whereabouts to contact him or the girl’s mother on 0713373845 or 0700636703.

Alternatively, one can report to the nearest police station.
